Police are investigating a murder and wounding case in Tsim Sha Tsui in the small hours today (October 6) in which a 36-year-old man died.
At 0.56am, Police received a report that some people were fighting in a bar at 136-138 Austin Road.
Police officers sped to the scene and located a 36-year-old man sustaining head injuries. He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 1.30am.
Three men, aged between 33 and 48, sustained minor injuries. They were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in conscious state.
Initial investigations revealed that the four men had been attacked with hands and hard objects following a dispute at the above location.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death.
Active investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West is underway.
