Meeting between Dmitry Medvedev and President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev

Dmitry Medvedev: You have already met with the Russian President, and I know that the talks were focused on a broad range of issues and fully reflected the multifaceted cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

This cooperation is constantly developing despite economic difficulties. The economy is improving in both countries.

Now we are implementing major projects, both bilateral and within the Eurasian Economic Union.

Almazbek Atambayev: Every one of our meetings gives us an opportunity to discuss bilateral problems and also to outline plans for the future.

We have succeeded in bringing relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia to the level of fraternal, friendly and, most importantly, strategic relations.
