Lowering customs duty rates for goods exported from Russia outside Customs Union member states

Starting 1 September 2017, export customs duty rates will be reduced for untreated animal hides, ferrous waste and scrap, refined copper and copper alloys, and items made from non-precious metals.

The resolution was drafted by the Ministry of Economic Development in line with Russia’s international commitments in connection with its accession to the World Trade Organisation.

Customs duty rates for goods exported from Russia outside states that are parties to the Customs Union agreements are approved by Government Resolution  No 754 of 30 August 2013.

Under the resolution, export customs duty rates for untreated animal hides, ferrous waste and scrap, refined copper and copper alloys, and items made from non-precious metals will be lowered as of 1 September 2017.

The draft resolution was approved during a session of the sub-commission on customs tariff and non-tariff regulation and protection of foreign trade of the Government Commission for Economic Development and Integration.
