Legislative Council Secretariat launches a new initiative: “Policy Pulse”

     The Legislative Council (LegCo) Secretariat launches a new initiative today (December 20) — the regular publication of "Policy Pulse" on specific topics that are of concern to various sectors of society and are closely related to the public. "Policy Pulse" not only provides a concise overview of the topics, but also summarizes LegCo's relevant work and the views of LegCo Members.

     The features of "Policy Pulse" include:

Specific topics

     Each issue of "Policy Pulse" focuses on specific topics of public concern, offering readers a comprehensive overview of related policy developments and discussions in LegCo, all within one informative article. 

Concise analyses

     "Policy Pulse" aims to provide a clear and concise overview of the Government's major policy initiatives, along with the latest developments and data, to keep readers promptly informed of key information.

Timely updates

     As individual topics evolve, the Secretariat will update the "Policy Pulse" in a timely manner, ensuring that readers stay abreast of the most up-to-date developments of the topics.

     The first two issues of "Policy Pulse", titled "Protection of computer systems of critical infrastructures" and "Hong Kong's transportation and transport infrastructure network" have been published. Members of the public are welcome to view the issues of the "Policy Pulse", which are available in Chinese and English, on the LegCo Website.
