LegCo to resume physical meetings and arrangements of Secretariat’s public services

The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
 
     In view of the latest situation of COVID-19 epidemic, physical meetings will be resumed for the Legislative Council (LegCo) on April 27 and 28, and the LegCo Public Works Subcommittee on April 27. All meetings of the LegCo committees before April 27 will continue to be held remotely. After the aforementioned date, the chairmen of respective committees will decide whether physical or remote meetings are to be conducted.
 
     Meanwhile, The Legislative Council Commission agreed that the LegCo Secretariat would resume normal operation from Thursday (April 21) onwards. Details are as follows:
 

  1. The work from home arrangement for the staff of the Secretariat will end, and the staff will resume working in the LegCo offices;
  2. All public services in the LegCo Complex will resume normal (including the counter services of the Public Complaint Office and the services of the LegCo Library and Archives); and
  3. All visitors are allowed to access to the LegCo premises (i.e. the LegCo Complex, and the LegCo offices in the CITIC Tower and the Queensway Government Offices), provided that they meet the vaccination requirements of Vaccine Pass.

 
     The Secretariat will closely monitor the development of the epidemic and review the measures to make further announcements in due course. For the latest meeting arrangements and the epidemic preventive measures implemented by the Secretariat, please refer to the announcement on the LegCo Website (www.legco.gov.hk).
