LCSD’s barbecue sites to resume normal operation and resumption of processing applications for leisure venues for non-designated use

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (October 27) that, in view of the relaxation of some social distancing measures announced by the Government, barbecue sites under the department will resume normal operation from November 3 gradually.

A spokesman for the LCSD reminded that persons using the facilities of the barbecue sites are required to comply with the measures for the prevention of COVID-19 so as to reduce the chances of spreading the virus in the community.

For details of these barbecue sites, please refer to the LCSD's website (www.lcsd.gov.hk/clpss/en/webApp/Facility/District.do?ftid=9).

Meanwhile, the LCSD will resume the processing of Applications for Use of Leisure Venues for Non-designated Use subject to the fulfilment of the latest requirements for scheduled premises as stipulated in the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) and the social distancing measures of the Government.
