The scheme also instilled positive values in youths and trained them to become future leaders. In addition to the JPC Scheme Awards, a “Fight Crime by Technology and Social Media Competition” was also held this year to encourage youngsters to make use of their creativity to spread fight crime and crime prevention messages via social media platforms.
Also officiating at the ceremony, Mr Cheng said that HSBC has supported the scheme for more than 30 years to nurture young leaders. He hoped that the JPC members would keep injecting positive energy into society.
