Judiciary alerts public to phishing email
The following is issued on behalf of the Judiciary:
The Judiciary today (March 10) called on the public to stay vigilant to a phishing email sent from the email account "Cheung Chin-neng <amyeden16@gmail.com>". The email falsely claimed to be issued by the Chief Justice, requesting the sender to provide his or her contact of an instant messaging application. The Judiciary has reported the case to the Police.
The Judiciary reminds the public that they should stay alert to suspicious emails and refrain from opening them. Anyone who has provided personal information to the email sender is advised to contact the Police immediately.
