A meeting to turbo-charge the ‘API Industry’ was organized today in NITI Aayog under the chairmanship of CEO Shri Amitabh Kant. Secretaries from the Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP); Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change; Department of Health Research; and senior officers from the Department of Expenditure, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, NITI Aayog, Department of Pharmaceuticals and CDSCO attended the meeting.

New semester to be postponed of various Universities in China including Southwest University

In meeting of Ms. Preeti Sudan, Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, with Chinese Ambassador few days back, she had requested that students who had returned from China were representing that their respective universities were asking them to join back or they would lose their admission status.

Symposium on Emerging Opportunities for Indian Textiles and Crafts held in New Delhi

Union Minister of Textiles and WCD, Smriti Zubin Irani has said that time has come to focus on the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Speaking at a symposium on Emerging Opportunities for Indian Textiles and Crafts held in New Delhi, she said that the Textiles Ministry will get in touch with small scale manufactures, who are meeting exports compliances, meeting delivery schedules and  support them with finance, legislation, certification, quality control programmes and R&D to make them leaders in their respective sphere.

India and Norway strengthen partnership on blue economy
