Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India has granted a financial assistance of up to Indian Rupees Five Crores Only

The total sown area as on 8th September 2017, as per reports received from States, stands at 1041.17 lakh hectare as compared to 1049.87 lakh hectare at this time last year.

The National level function to celebrate 51st International Literacy Day was organised by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in New Delhi today. Honorable Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu also presented the Saakshar Bharat Awards – 2017 to the winners at state, district and panchayat level.
