On the occasion of the International Women’s Day 2020, Law Centre II, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi organized a panel discussion on “Women Empowerment: New Dimensions.” The program started with the ceremonial lighting of lamp followed by welcome address by Prof.

“Well coordinated actions between concerned Departments, States and central ministries, corporation and agencies etc. for contact tracing, community surveillance, hospital management, developing and managing isolation wards, awareness campaign are the key focus areas which need attention at this hour.

“It is because of our strength of active community surveillance that we have been able to do effective contact tracing of cases of COVID-19 in India,” said Dr. Harsh Vardhan here today, while presiding over the 43rd Annual Day of the National Institute of Health & Family Welfare (NIHFW).

On the Occasion of International Women’s Day 2020 today, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh said in the armed forces women’s participation has increased over the years and further enhancing their role is the priority of the government.
