Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the ongoing efforts to contain COVID-19.  

Ways to further strengthen India’s preparedness were discussed. This includes further enhancing testing facilities.

Attention of Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has been drawn to certain media reports stating that call data records for certain days and certain routes in February 2020 have been sought by DoT from Telecom Service Providers in deviation of standard operating procedures laid by the Government.

Shri Modi described Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as one of the greatest figures of the last century, and said, “His entire life is a tremendous inspiration to all of us.”
