In view the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) and concern of the logistics for COVID 19 management particularly during last couple of weeks and that prices of the alcohol used in manufacturing the hand sanitizers have been exorbitantly increased by the producers of such alcohol, Government has notified an Order under the Essential Commodities Act to declare price cap prevailing as on 05.03.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the nation on combating the challenge of COVID-19. On the occasion of ‘Navratra’, Prime Minister made nine requests to the people.

Prime Minister said that patience and resolve of all Indians  is vital in fighting the global pandemic which has wreaked havoc all over the world.

Officers of Anti-Evasion, Central GST Commissionerate, Delhi East, have unravelled an operation involving availment of fraudulent Input Tax Credit on the basis of fake invoices and evasion of GST by utilizing the said fraudulent ITC of Rs. 24 crores approx.

Ministry of HRD has issued directions to UGC, AICTE, NTA, NIOS, CBSE , NCTE and all autonomous organisations under the Ministry for the postponement of all the examinations till 31st March, 2020 as a precautionary measure in the wake of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

As a precautionary measure and on basis of instructions received from MHRD , CBSE has  decided to reschedule ongoing board exams.
