The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that language can help good governance because information and knowledge can create an enlightened citizenry. He was addressing the 16th Annual Convocation of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, in Hyderabad today.

The “Aadi Mahotsav” is being organised by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India at Dilli Haat, INA, New Delhi from 16th November to 30th November, 2017 with full enthusiasm & energy. The ‘theme’ of “Aadi Mahotsav” is ‘A Celebration of the Spirit of Tribal Culture, Cuisine and Commerce’. The genuine and authentic ‘Tribal Handicrafts’, ‘Mouth-watering’ and ‘Delectable Tribal Cuisine’ with Colorful and Vibrant Tribal Dance and Fine Music are being showcased in the “Mahotsav”. Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India inaugurated the fortnight-long festival on 16th November, 2017 at Dilli Haat, INA, New Delhi.

IFFI 2017 Stellar Line-up is Announced

The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that Students should continue to learn, earn and yearn to serve with clear vision, pure heart and strong shoulders. He was addressing the Eighth Convocation of Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), in Hyderabad today. The Minister for Irrigation, Marketing & Legislative Affairs, Shri T. Harish Rao, the Chancellor of GITAM University, Prof. K. Ramakrishna Rao and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, will visit three Northeastern States – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Manipur – from November 19 to 22, 2017. This is his first visit to these states as the President of India.
