The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given its approval to the Protection of Human Rights (Amendments) Bill, 2018 for better protection and promotion of human rights in the country.

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has been apprised of theMemorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between India and Canada.  The MoU was signed on 21st February, 2018 in New Delhi.

Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) is committed to the building of airport capacity as part of its NABH (NextGen Airports for BHarat) Nirman initiative. Three key aspects of NABH Nirman are (1) fair and equitable land acquisition, (2) long-term master plan for airport and regional development and (3) balanced economics for all stakeholders.

Shri Conrad Kongkal Sangma, Chief Minister of Meghalaya called on Shri R K Singh, Union Minister of State (IC) Power and New & Renewable Energy in his office here, today. The meeting discussed various issues pertaining to power sector in the State, and to ensure round the clock supply for each household in Meghalaya.

Dr. Vishwapati Trivedi former Secretary, Ministry of Shipping said that India has a huge potential and entrepreneurship for development of ports infrastructure.He said that present Government has taken nany steps including launching of Sagarmaka project in a big way to develop maritine trade & infrastructure.
