The exhibition ‘To the end of Land’ was inagurated today at the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi by his Excellency, Daniel Carmon, Ambassador, Embassy of Israel in India in the presence of Director General, NGMA, Adwaita Gadanayak.

In response to certain reports appearing in the media regarding Adopt a Heritage Scheme, the Ministry of Tourism has clarified that the “Adopt a Heritage: Apni Dharohar, Apni Pehchaan”, is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), and State/UTs  Governments.

Union Minister of State for Law & Justice and Corporate Affairs Shri P.P. Chaudhary called on various senior Ministers of the Government of Barbados which included the Minister of Industry, International Business, Commerce & Small Business Development, The Hon’ble Mr. Donville Inniss; Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, The Hon’ble Maxine McClean; and Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, the Hon’ble Ronald Dacosta Jones J.P. during his collective visit to the Caribbean island nations St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados under the Bruhad Sampark Yojana.

The Expenditure Finance Committee of Union Finance Ministry appraised and accepted on 27th April 2018, the proposal of Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation to provide Central Assistance for completion of balance works of 83 Surface Minor Irrigation (SMI) projects and 8 Major/Medium Irrigation projects of Vidarbha , Marathwada and drought prone areas of rest of Maharashtra.

The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) will celebrate the auspicious Buddha Jayanti-2018 by showcasing various facets of Buddhist traditions. A conglomerate of Buddhist Institutions will come together on 30th April, 2018 in the presence of Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
