The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that it is not possible to ensure the quality of life without electricity. He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the new building of UP Electricity Regulatory Commission, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh today.

General Bipin Rawat, Chief of the Army Staff, visited Headquarters Central Command at Lucknow on 26 May 2018 and was briefed on operational readiness of forces by Lieutenant General BS Negi, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command.

Shri Ashwani Lohani, Chairman, Railway Board inspected Ateli-Phulera section of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor & announced that Ateli- Phulera section of Dedicated freight corridor will be started on 15th August 2018.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class XII resultstoday. Trivandrum performed best amongst all regions with 97.32% pass percentage followed by Chennai region with 93.87% while Delhi stands at third position with 89% pass percentage.
