“Post 1991 economic liberalisation, there has been a phenomenal growth in the creation of new townships, urbanisation and more particularly sub-urbanisation.

            Indian Naval Ships Sahyadri, Shakti and Kamorta of the Eastern Fleet under the command of Rear Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, NM, Flag Officer Commanding, Eastern Fleet currently on an overseas deployment to South East Asia and the Western Pacific, arrived at Guam on 07 June 18 to participate in the 22nd edition of Exercise Malabar, off Guam, USA from 07 to 16 June 2018.

Pursuant to the decisions taken by Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) in its meeting held on 06.06.2018, Department of Food & Public Distribution (DF&PD) has issued the following orders/notifications on 07.06.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated the National Highway from Matabari to Sabroom in Udaipur, Tripura today (June 7, 2018).

Speaking on the occasion, the President said a state such as Tripura can progress with a combination of its human talent and infrastructure advance.

The Seventh Pay Commission has awarded monetary compensation to jawans for allowing purchase of personal clothing items of uniform to be purchased under arrangement to be made by the Army. An annual remuneration of Rs 10,000/- has been paid to all jawans in lieu of selected items of personal clothing.
