Rs. 14.30 crore sanctioned for Block level sports in Jammu & Kashmir

            Grants-in-aid amounting to Rs. 14.30 crore (Rupees Fourteen Crore & Thirty Lakh) has been sanctioned for Bock level sports in the State of Jammu and Kashmir under the ‘Khelo India’ Scheme by the Union Sports Ministry, Government of India.

Shri J P Nadda highlights the achievements of the Health Ministry

“We are saving nearly 12,000 mothers in 2015 (mid-year) as compared to 2012. Compared to 44,000 earlier annual maternal deaths, now there are 32,000 maternal deaths only.” This was stated by Shri J P Nadda, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfareduring a press conference to highlight the achievements of 48 months of the Government, here today.
