PM inaugurates, lays Foundation Stone for various development projects in Varanasi

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today inaugurated, or laid  the foundation stone of important projects, cumulatively worth over Rs. 900 crore, in Varanasi. Among the projects inaugurated are the Varanasi City Gas Distribution Project, and the Varanasi-Ballia MEMU train.

Ministry of Mines Organizes 4th National Conclave on Mines & Minerals In Indore, Madhya Pradesh

            The Ministry of Mines organized the 4th National Conclave on Mines & Minerals on 13th July 2018 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. State Mining ministers, officials of central ministries including Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), officials of the state government, CEOs of mining industries, industry associations, academic institutions and others participated in the conclave.

Workshop on Stress Management held for Government Statistics officials in New Delhi

Considering the stress of the employees due to hectic works schedule and time lines for completion of official tasks, which is affecting the work efficiency as well as the heath of employees,  a ‘workshop on stress management’ for Officers/staff of Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Central Statistics Office and National Sample Survey Office posted in Delhi/NCR was organized on 13th July, 2018 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi  under the guidance of Hon’ble Minister of State, Shri Vijay Goel.

Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation Launches the Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2018

The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation launches the Swachh SurvekshanGrameen 2018 (SSG 2018) in the capital today. An independent survey agency will conduct the survey in all districts from 1st to 31st August 2018, and the results will be announced in the form of a ranking of all districts and states on the basis of quantitative and qualitative sanitation (Swachhata) parameters.
