PM attends the Outstanding Parliamentarian Awards function

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today attended the Outstanding Parliamentarian Awards at the function organized by the Indian Parliamentary Group in New Delhi. The Hon’ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, presented the Outstanding Parliamentarian Awards at the Central Hall of Parliament.

Total Rs 54,378 crore of Refunds processed by the Centre and the States till 31st July, 2018 under GST during the Third Refund Fortnight.

As part of the continued focus of the Government of India to liquidate pending GST refunds, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has successfully concluded the Third Refund Fortnight from 16th July, 2018 to 31st July, 2018.

Fund for Agricultural Machinery

Ministry of Agriculture  and Farmers Welfare has released Rs. 36.58 crore and Rs. 148.60 crore under Sub- Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM) for promotion of agricultural mechanization activities and under  a new Central Sector Scheme on ‘Promotion of Agricultural Mechanization for In-Situ Management of Crop Residue in the States of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and NCT of Delhi’ for in-situ management of crop residue activities during 2018-19 to Government of Uttar Pradesh respectively.

Crops Destroyed by Stray Animals

The States of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have taken steps for stray cattles.          

In the State of Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Gopalan Evam Pashudhan Samvardhan Board is functional in the Department of Animal Husbandry under which 604 Gaushalas are being operated by different NGO’s in different districts in the State.

Health Ministry signs MoU with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to facilitate access of AB–NHPM to the last mile

National Health Agency (NHA) under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the apex body for the implementation of Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM), and Common Service Centres (CSC) scheme under the Digital India Programme, have signed an MoU to provide information and eligibility validation services to beneficiaries, especially in remote areas.
