The Chief Minister of Tripura, Shri Biplab Kumar Deb called on the Union Minister of Consumer Affairs,Food and Public Distribution Shri Ram Vilas Paswan at KrishiBhawan in New Delhitoday. In the meeting,theChief Minister of Tripura, Shri Biplab Kumar Deb requested that Food Corporation of India(FCI) should take up procurement of paddy and other food grains  in the state of Tripura for greater interest of the farmers in the region.

        The ‘Experiencing North East’ festival depicting the uniqueness of North Eastern culture is being organised at India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi from 27th-31st October, 2018. The festival, a part of Destination North East series, is being organised by North Eastern Council (NEC), Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) in collaboration with India International Centre.
