The Security Restrictions Guidelines enunciated by Ministry of Defence on 31.10.1990, were restrictive in nature towards developmental activities near border areas. In supersession of all previous orders, fresh guidelines were issued on 27.11.

 

Following is the text of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi’s departure statement prior to attending the G-20 Summit.

“I will be visiting Buenos Aires from 29 November -01 December 2018 to attend the 13th G-20 Summit hosted by Argentina.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, will visit Assam (Guwahati) on November 28 and 29, 2018. On November 29, 2018, the President will present Standards to 118 Helicopter Unit and Colours to Air Defence College.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, received the first copy of the book “Making of New India: Transformation under Modi Government”, from Shri Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs.

The President is pleased to appoint the senior–most Election Commissioner, Shri Sunil Arora as the Chief Election Commissioner in the Election Commission. Shri Sunil Arora will assume the charge of office of the Chief Election Commissioner with effect from the 2nd December, 2018 vice Shri Om Prakash Rawat consequent upon his demitting the Office of the Chief Election Commissioner on the 1st December, 2018.
