Commerce Minster meeting Saudi Arabian business delegation

Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Suresh Prabhu, met a Saudi business delegation in New Delhi today. The Saudi delegation was led by KamelS.

In view of the recent reports in media pertaining to National Gallery of Modern Art(NGMA), it is clarified as under –

The Advisory Committees of NGMA Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi have not been dissolved . Their terms have ended recently (Mumbai and Bengaluru committee terms ended on 15 November 2018 and of Delhi on 17 January 2019).

Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa PVSM AVSM YSM VM ADC, Chief of the Air Staff Indian Air Force is embarking on a four day official visit to Bangladesh from 11 to 14 February 2019. This is a bilateral goodwill visit to a SAARC nation wherein the CAS is scheduled to visit operational and training units of Bangladesh Air Force.

The Vice President Shri. M. Venkaiah Naidu today found fault with the tendency of some activist groups for adopting an ambivalent attitude on human rights.

Addressing the gathering at the Valedictory ceremony of the LAWASIA conference in New Delhi, he said “they either defend or maintain silence regarding the violation of human rights by the violent groups and are ready to condemn law- enforcing, peace-promoting, firm action by the State.
