Jal Shakti Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat launched the Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2019 (SSG 2019) in the capital today. To be instituted from August 14 to September 30, 2019, SSG 2019 will cover 17,450 villages in 698 districts across India and include 87,250 public places namely schools, anganwadi centers, public health centres, haat/bazaars/religious places, making it India’s largest rural sanitation survey.

The names of the 56 (Fifity Six) Border Security Force (BSF)  officials announced today for conferring the  Police Medals on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day, 2019.  Five ( 05 ) of them would be conferred with Police Medal for Gallantry, 05 with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service while 46 would be conferred with Police Medal for Meritorious service.
