Union Environment Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekar released a report on Status of Tiger Habitats in high altitude ecosystems today in New Delhi. Releasing the report Shri Javadekar said that it is an exciting study as it reveals that even ecology at high altitude is compatible for the tiger growth and we will take inputs from this study to have a high altitude tiger master plan.

The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu attended a prayer meeting held in memory of Late Shri Arun Jaitley, the former union Finance Minister, in New Delhi today and paid his respects.

Shri. Naidu took to social media to pay tributes to Late Shri Arun Jaitley, and said that Shri Jaitley was a close associate and a dear friend.

            Chief Election Commissioner of India Shri Sunil Arora today spoke to the Extraordinary Session of the Executive Board of Association of World Election Bodies in Bengaluru. Sh Arora recalled that Election Commission of India had been closely associated with the formation process of the A-WEB during 2011-12, and was one of the founding members of AWEB in October 2013.
