Vice President urges world community to work unitedly to root out terrorism;

The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has called upon the world community to work together to completely root out terrorism and promote a peaceful global order.

Speaking at the valedictory session of a national conference on ‘India-Africa Partnership in a Changing Global Order–Priorities, Prospects and Challenges’, organized by the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA)  in New Delhi, Shri Naidu said that terrorism is the enemy of humanity and must be eliminated.

43 proposals received for six Light House Projects (LHPs)

A total of 43 proposals from 19 agencies have been received for LHP under GHTC-India at six locations  (LHP of Indore received 06 Proposals, Rajkot received 06 Proposals, Chennai received 11 proposals, Ranchi received 06 Proposals, Tripura received 05 Proposals and Lucknow received 09 Proposals) 

The Technical proposals were opened today, on 03/09/2019 at 3.00 PM from E-Procurement Portal in the presence of the Tender Evaluation Committee which included one member from each six States.

The NDB is the first Multilateral Development Bank established by developing countries and emerging economies — Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
