I welcome you all to India for the 14th session of the COP to the UN convention to combat desertification. for the UN Combat Desertification. I thank the executive secretary Mr Ibrahim Jio for having brought this convention to India.

Union Minister of Human Resource Development Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ held a press conference in Dehradun on achievements of 100 days of Union Government. Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi is going to address the High Level Segment of the 14th Conference of Parties (COP14) of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) tomorrow. The Conference is being held in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
