Union Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Sh. Narendra Singh Tomar laid the Foundation Stone for  construction  of Grameen Vikas Bhawan at K.G. Marg, New Delhi today.

The Vice President of India, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu today called upon for making India Vishwa Guru and the hub of innovation and knowledge once again. “There was a time when India was known as the Vishwa Guru and students from distant countries came for education here”, he said adding that steps must be taken to bring back that past glory.

The members of US India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) called on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi today. The delegation was led by Chairman, USISPF, Mr. John Chambers.

The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), chaired by Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, met today and accorded approval for Capital Procurement for the Defence forces amounting over Rs. 3300 crores of indigenously designed and developed equipment.

Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, accompanied by an official and business delegation, will be visiting Russia and Japan from 22-26 October 2019.

As a follow up to the visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister to Vladivostok for the Eastern Economic Forum in September 2019, the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Steel will visit Vladivostok on 22-25 October 2019.
