Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Brasilia, Brazil on 13th – 14th November 2019 to attend the 11th BRICS summit. The theme of the BRICS summit this year is “Economic Growth for an Innovative Future.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, will visit Punjab tomorrow (November 12, 2019) to attend the 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji organised by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib at Sultanpur Lodhi.

The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu today said that we should all learn Sanskrit so that we maintain a living link with our rich past and truly understand what it means to be an “Indian”. He also called upon the Government and non-governmental organizations to join hands to preserve, promote and propagate Sanskrit language and literature, stressing that ‘we cannot think of India without thinking of Sanskrit.

Furthering the Government of India’s commitment in promoting the use of environmentally friendly products, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has given Environment Clearance to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to set up new 2G Ethanol plant at Panipat.
