Infusion of capital to PSBs

In addition to capital infused earlier by the Government, provision of Rs 70,000 crore has been made for infusion of capital by the Government in banks in the Budget for the current Financial Year to boost credit for impetus to the economy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi meets Bill Gates

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today had a meeting with Mr. Bill Gates, Co-Chair, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, during the latter’s three-day visit to India. The two had last met in September in New York, on the sidelines of the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.

1,821 cases filed by homebuyers against builders under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code

As per the information received from National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), total 1,821 cases filed by homebuyers against builders since June, 2018, under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) 2016, were pending in NCLT on 30.09.
