The Union  Minister of Railways and Minister of Commerce & Industry, Shri Piyis Goyal has said the Government has simplified the Patents regime for Start-ups, MSMEs among others to encourage innovation.

Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Shri R K Mathur  called on Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh here and offered an update about the recent developments following the creation of the Union Territory of Ladakh three weeks ago. 

Dr Jitendra Singh informed Shri R K Mathur about the special priority focus to be given to Ladakh  on the directions of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The first flight from Kalaburagi Airport to Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru took off today after the inauguration of Kalaburagi airport by the Chief Minister of Karnataka. The airport has been built under the UDAN-RCS Scheme of Govt.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) levies service charge as per market conditions since the introduction of online ticketing facility over Indian Railways in 2002. In order to incentivize digital payments, the aforesaid service charges were temporarily withdrawn in November, 2016.
