Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship’s maiden tableau entry at the Republic Day parade adjudged the best Tableau amongst Ministerial representations

The best of Skill Development & Entrepreneurial efforts were on display at the Republic Day parade. The 68th Republic Day was the first outing for a MSDE tableau. And the outstanding efforts by its creators helped it being adjudged the best tableau amongst Ministerial representations.

Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh has said that the Union Government led by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has taken decisive steps against Pakistan sponsored terrorism and the two most recent examples are the decision of Remonetization which has drastically reduced terror related transactions, preceded by the military strike inside the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

2-day North East Investors’ Summit in Shillong from tomorrow

The first ever “Investors Summit” exclusively for North Eastern Region (NER), organized jointly by the Ministry of Textiles and the Ministry of DoNER during 29-30 January, 2017, would be inaugurated by the Union Textiles Minister, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani in Shillong, at the State Convention Centre, on 29th January, 2017.




Curtain Raiser – Beating The Retreat 2017

This year, spectators at the Beating the Retreat ceremony will be enthralled with the mesmerising and foot tapping music of the bands from the Army, the Navy, the Air Force and the State Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
