The Election Commission of India today organized a National Workshop on Accessible Elections. The Workshop was organized with the purpose of reviewing steps taken as yet by ECI for making Elections PwD and Senior Citizens friendly and to deliberate on steps still required to make the process more inclusive and accessible.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, presided over the second meeting of the National Committee for Commemoration of the 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at Rashtrapati Bhavan today (December 19, 2019).

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind chaired the second meeting of the National Committee for Commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. Participants of the meeting included members of the National Committee including the  Vice President, Shri Venkaiah Naidu; Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi; members of the Union Cabinet; Chief Ministers of various states; noted Gandhians among others.

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, will visit Secunderabad, Telangana for his annual southern sojourn at Rashtrapati Nilayam from December 20 to 28, 2019.

On December 22, 2019, the President will launch a mobile app of the Indian Red Cross Society, Telangana State Branch at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad.

The Prime Minister today addressed the second meeting of the National Committee held at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The meeting was presided over by Hon’ble Rashtrapati ji. Participants of the meeting included other members of the National Committee including Hon’ble Vice President, members of the Union Cabinet, Chief Ministers of various states, noted Gandhians and others.
