Union Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs ,Shri Anurag Thakur  held  10th and final  Pre-Budget Consultation meeting with the leading representatives from Health, Education and Rural Development Sectors here today in connection with the forthcoming General Budget 2020-21.

The Government of India has announced the Sale (Re-issue) of (i) ‘6.18 per cent  Government Stock, 2024’ for a notified amount of Rs 4,000 crore (nominal) through price based auction, (ii) ‘GoI Floating Rate Bonds,  2031’ for a notified amount of Rs 6,000 crore (nominal) through price based auction, (iii) ‘7.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla (IFS: 1984), Ambassador in Washington D.C. as Foreign Secretary with effect from 29.01.2020 upon completion of two year term of Shri Vijay Keshav Gokhale as Foreign Secretary on 28.01.

Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria PVSM AVSM VM ADC, Chief of the Air Staff is on a bilateral goodwill visit to Egypt from 24 to 28 Dec 2019.

The Chief of Air Staff is scheduled to visit various operational and training establishments of the Egyptian Air Force and also interact with senior officials of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
