Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ launched the 5 documents developed by UGC covering the 5 verticals of Quality Mandate in New Delhi today. These five documents cover evaluation reforms, eco-friendly and sustainable university campuses, human values & professional ethics, faculty induction and academic research integrity.

The Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Union Minister for Women & Child Development Smt. Smriti Irani discussed areas for promotion of scientific temper among women in the country and convergence of efforts of different ministries in this direction, at a meeting held here today.

Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, Chairman Railway Board has said restructuring of Railway Board was a long pending reform suggested by many reform committees constituted on Railways.  The reforms as suggested by various committees from time to time including Prakash Tandon Committee (1994) have been largely adopted.
