Vice President expresses confidence that the economy will rebound in the near future

The Vice President of India, Shri M Venkaiah Naidu today expressed confidence that the Indian economy would rebound in the near future saying that the current slowdown was cyclical.

Inaugurating the 102nd annual conference of the Indian Economic Association, he said it was true that the Indian economy was facing some challenges due to the decline in growth this fiscal.

Alliance Air commences daily flight operations on KALABURAGI-BENGALURU- MYSURU routes under RCS-UDAN

Alliance Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air India, started daily direct flight operations from Kalaburagi to Bengaluru and onward to Mysuru under the RCS-UDAN scheme, today. The Kalaburagi airport was built by the Airport Authority of India in collaboration with State Government.
