Union Government offers imported Onions to State Governments at Rs. 49 to 58 per kg; Union Consumer Affairs Minister Shri Ram Vilas Paswan exhorts State Governments to buy imported Onions as per their initial demandfor direct retailing to consumers

 

The Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Shri Ram Vilas Paswanheld a press conference today to brief media about the overall availability and prices of Onions across the nation along with the imported quantities so far. Shri Paswan said that the Union Government has decided to offer Onions to State Governments at the landing price in Mumbai ranging from Rs. 49 to Rs. 58 per Kilogram.
