Water level of 91 major Reservoirs of the Country goes down by One per cent

The water storage available in 91 major reservoirs of the country for the week ending on May 25, 2017 was 35.053 BCM, which is 22% of total storage capacity of these reservoirs.

President presents Dr Ambedkar National Award for Social Understanding and Upliftment of Weaker Sections

The President of India Shri Pranab Mukharjee presented the “Dr. Ambedkar National Award for Social Understanding and up-liftment of Weaker Sections for the year 2011, 2012 and 2014” at a function here today.




After GST regime, telecom companies would be required to re-work their costing and credits availability and re-jig their prices and ensure that the increased availability of credit is passed on to the customers by lowering their costs.

Telecommunication services presently attract Service Tax of 14% along with Swachh Bharat Cess (SBC) of 0.5% and Krishi Kalyan Cess (KKC) of 0.5%.
