Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ chaired the meeting of the Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO (INCCU) in New Delhi today. Minister of State for HRD Shri Sanjay Dhotre was also present at the meeting.

High level review meetings on preparedness for Novel Coronavirus are regularly being held by the Union Health Minister, Cabinet Secretary and Health Secretary.

Cabinet Secretary has held four review meetings so far. Today he reviewed the preparedness with the concerned Ministries of Health & Family Welfare, External Affairs, Defence, Home Affairs, Civil Aviation, Information & Broadcasting, Labour & Employment, and Shipping.

Election Commission of India has decided to convene a special meeting on 31st January 2020 at 4pm with the Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi along with District Electoral Officers, District Commissioners of Police, Nodal officers and the Chief Executives of Local Bodies to have another comprehensive review for the poll preparedness of ensuing Delhi Elections and to discuss all important aspects for conduct of free and fair Elections.

Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah today released the “Data on Police Organizations as on 1.1.2019” in India, in the presence of Shri V S K Kaumudi, DG, BPR&D, and other senior officers of the BPR&D.

The BPR&D has been publishing the “Data on Police Organizations” annually since 1986.
