Transitional housing mainly assists people who are waiting for traditional public rental housing for not less than three years. Units will be also allocated to the people/families who are inadequately housed or with imminent needs to receive social assistance, etc. More information on transitional housing is at the thematic website
(www.hb.gov.hk/eng/policy/housing/policy/transitional/index.html) or the Transitional Housing Information Counter located in the Hong Kong Housing Authority Customer Service Centre and the Housing Department Cash Allowance Office.
