Housing Authority resumes normal public services
The following is issued on behalf of the Hong Kong Housing Authority:
The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) announced today (April 19) that public services of the HA will resume as normal starting from April 21.
All recreational and public facilities in the HA's public rental housing estates, including soccer pitches, badminton courts, table tennis tables, tennis courts, children's play facilities, fitness equipment and multi-purpose halls/activities rooms, etc will also be reopened. Large-scale activities will continue to be suspended.
A spokesman for the HA reminded that group gatherings of more than the permitted number of people in public places as stipulated by the law are strictly prohibited. Relevant requirements of the Vaccine Pass must also be complied with.
To reduce the risk of infection and spread of the virus, the HA will implement measures to control the flow of people and queuing order where necessary. Visitors are required to undergo body temperature checks, use the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile application and wear masks.
Flat selection sessions for the Sale of Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2020/21 will resume starting from April 21. Flat selection notification letters are being issued in batches to eligible applicants according to their priority for flat selection.
