Equally attractive is the stamp sheetlet on "China's Aerospace Development" depicting the milestones of China's Aerospace Development since the 1970s. The stamp sheetlet is designed in an oval shape of the universe. It contains two round-shaped stamps symbolising the view of the aerospace from the spaceship.
Hongkong Post, as usual, will issue a set of special stamps on the Chinese zodiac sign of the coming year to herald the Lunar New Year. After the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games, the XXIV Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 will be held in February 2022. This is the first time for China to host the Winter Games and Hongkong Post will specifically bring forward a set of stamps featuring the various sport events, rekindling the community's Olympic enthusiasm.
Following the enthusiastic response to the "Local Snacks in Hong Kong" special stamps issued in 2021, stamp lovers must keep an eye for "Local Snacks in Hong Kong II" which will bring forth another set of Hong Kong style local snacks and the most authentic manifestation of local food culture.
Located at the western tip of the West Kowloon Cultural District, the Hong Kong Palace Museum is scheduled to open in mid-2022.
