Hongkong Post to gradually resume normal postal services
​Hongkong Post today (March 24) announced that, starting from March 28, all 120 post offices will resume their normal opening hours but will continue to maintain their closing hours at 4pm from Monday to Friday. The business hours on Saturday will also resume as normal, except for the General Post Office and Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, which will continue to maintain their closing hours at 1pm. The General Post Office will continue to be closed on Sunday. The service of mobile post offices will also resume as normal.
Besides, Hongkong Post will also resume the provision of Local CourierPost and local parcel service as well as the daily mail collection from posting boxes from March 28.

Hongkong Post said that with staff who either tested positive for COVID-19 or are close contacts of confirmed cases now gradually resuming duties, the stringent manpower situation that it faced earlier is being eased. Hongkong Post will closely monitor the situation and keep striving to maintain the provision of essential postal services to members of the public. Hongkong Post will also continue to implement measures for social distancing and infection control at all postal facilities for the health and safety of its staff as well as members of the public.
