Hongkong Post extends EPS EasyCash for Senior Citizens service launched in collaboration with EPS Company to all post offices

Hongkong Post announced today (June 24) the extension of the EPS EasyCash for Senior Citizens service together with EPS Company to all post offices and mobile post offices on July 2. This service offers an alternative and convenient means of cash withdrawal for senior citizens by enabling them to withdraw small amounts of cash in their local community.

Hongkong Post launched the EPS EasyCash for Senior Citizens service at seven designated post offices on April 27, 2018, based on the advice of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Hongkong Post's own operational considerations. This service extension will further complement the existing cash withdrawal network for senior citizens.

Holders of Senior Citizen Cards can withdraw cash in multiples of $100 using their bank cards issued by EPS member banks with an ATM function at any post office without making purchases or paying transaction fees, subject to a cap of $500 for each transaction and a maximum of two transactions per bank card per day. The elderly are welcome to use the EPS EasyCash for Senior Citizens service at post offices during business hours.
