The Hong Kong Space Museum will screen a new 3D dome show, "Legend of the Enchanted Reef 3D", and a new dome show, "Animal Kingdom: A Tale of Six Families", at its Space Theatre starting October 1 (Sunday) to lead audiences to explore the underwater world and the animal kingdom.

The "Legend of the Enchanted Reef 3D" tells the story of three little fish whose home reef falls prey to the devastation caused by ruthless fishing trawlers. The fish then embark on an epic quest to find the legendary "enchanted reef", which is a harmonious paradise for all marine life. During the journey, the three fish uncover the mysteries of underwater airplane wreckage, meet unforgettable characters such as jellyfish, octopuses, anglerfish and dolphins, and even venture into outer space. Dangers lurk everywhere. The three little fish need to outwit hungry sharks, evade hazardous pollution, and overcome other threats before arriving at their dream home. The 26-minute show will be screened until March 31, 2024. Screening times are 2pm and 6.30pm on weekdays, and 12.30pm and 5pm on weekends and public holidays.

"Animal Kingdom: A Tale of Six Families" will bring audiences to every corner of the planet and explore the habitats of six animal families. The audiences can look into the world of tiny insects and appreciate the insects' tireless efforts to maintain nature's delicate balance. Audiences can also soar with birds and unravel the secret lives of the king penguins after they give up flying, plunge into the depths of the ocean and reveal the vibrant communities of fish beneath the waves, and venture into the realms of amphibians and reptiles to challenge the world's deadliest predators. At the end of the show, audiences will step into the world of mammals, and uncover the similarities between humankind and mammals. The 39-minute show will be screened until June 30, 2024. Screening times are 5pm on weekdays and 11am, 3.30pm and 8pm on weekends and public holidays.

To echo the Night Vibes Hong Kong campaign, the Space Theatre, starting from September 29 to November 26 (except October 1), will feature an extra sky show or dome show at 9.15pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Tickets priced at $24 (front stalls) and $32 (stalls) are now available at the Hong Kong Space Museum Box Office and URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk).
