Hong Kong Police’s National Security Department arrested four men for suspected contravention of National Security Law

     After in-depth investigation, officers of the National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police arrested four men, aged from 18 to 20, in various districts today (August 18). They were suspected of advocating terrorism on July 7, contravening Article 27 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (National Security Law).

     All arrested persons are being detained for further enquiries. Investigation is underway and further arrests may be made.
