Hong Kong Police Force driver tests positive for COVID-19
The Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) today (February 27) said that a driver of HKPF had undergone a COVID-19 rapid antigen test tonight and the result is positive.
The driver is responsible for driving duties for the Commissioner of Police, Mr Siu Chak-yee. He does not need to have contact with the public and had no recent travel history. He wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work. He last performed duties on February 25.
Mr Siu has taken COVID-19 rapid antigen tests and deep throat saliva sample for testing in recent days. Both results are negative. For prudence's sake, Mr Siu has undergone a rapid antigen test again tonight and the result is negative.
