The Home and Youth Affairs Bureau (HYAB) and the Youth Development Commission (YDC) jointly launched the three-year HYAB JC Scheme for Youth Life Planning (2025-28) today (January 20). Eligible non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are invited to submit applications.
The Government attaches great importance to youth development. Since 2014, a series of measures has been adopted to help young people realise their life planning as early as possible, and assist them in keeping abreast of the local market development trends as well as the industry prospects in Hong Kong to enable them to make informed choices in relation to academic pursuits and career aspirations. To strengthen support for youth in unleashing their potential, the HYAB and the YDC launched the enhanced Scheme to assist secondary school students in realising their life planning and seizing national development opportunities. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust will provide funding support to this round of the Scheme.
Details of the new round of the Scheme and application forms are available on the YDC website (www.ydc.gov.hk/en/programmes/life/life.html). Interested NGOs should submit their applications on or before noon on March 4.
