HKSAR Government welcomes opening up of China National Arts Fund to applications from eligible arts institutions and practitioners of HK

â€‹The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government notes that the Council of the China National Arts Fund announced today (July 16) the opening up of the China National Arts Fund 2022 to applications from the HKSAR and Macao SAR. Eligible arts institutions and practitioners may submit applications via the website of the China National Arts Fund (www.cnaf.cn) from July to September 2021. The HKSAR Government welcomes the opening up of the China National Arts Fund to applications from arts institutions and practitioners in the HKSAR for the first time.

The National 14th Five-Year Plan promulgated in March this year included the support for the HKSAR to develop into an arts and culture exchange hub of China and the rest of the world. The opening up of the China National Arts Fund to applications from eligible arts institutions and practitioners in the HKSAR is a testimony to the Nation's care for the development of the arts and culture sector and arts talents in the HKSAR and on providing them with a wider scope of development. The HKSAR Government has been attaching much emphasis to nurturing local arts and culture talents and will continue to assist the arts and culture sector to seize the opportunities offered by the National 14th Five-Year Plan.
